The new production of the horror of Netflix plunges us into a post-apocalyptic world in which a family tries to escape an invasion of predatory aliens who hunt their prey with a sense of hearing ultra-developed. If the pitch is undeniably to think of the one Without a noise, released in June of last year, The Silence is based on the novel of the same name written by Tim Lebbon and published in 2015. Directed by John R. Leonetti (Annabelle), the film is carried by a duo inédit : Stanley Tucci and Kiernan Shipka, the heroine of the New adventures of Sabrina, including the season 2 arrives on Netflix on April 5. To slip into the skin of the main character, a teenage girl who is deaf, the actress has perfectly learned the language of signs. An investment welcomed by the director, who told the Hollywood Reporter : “I think the public has never seen it like that. She has learned to sign for the film and she made no error, as if it had signed all of his life.” To find The Silence, go on Netflix on April 10.
